There was a similar attitude towards consumers in the Eastern bloc countries, where the state was an outright monopolist and you had no choice in the matter, but here, in a free and democratic world, it sounds more than a little strange. I have noticed a tendency to impose rather than dialogue, to try to force certain decisions, which is outside the context of good commercial practice. I have been observing this inexplicable process for four years now. It is strange to create a product for its own sake and without taking into consideration the reactions that might arise. In developing a new product, it is imperative that marketing and psychology specialists are on the team so that the target group identified can be covered. In this case, it is inexplicable to me what and which is the group in question. Oh, and the nerf of Diamond rewards is still unforgivable. At the heart of every product development is a target group. And the level 4 fragment rewards on the small encounters are mostly good stuff.Īll in all, I now relish completing the small encounters and would rather skip the large ones, exactly the opposite of before. From the major increase in coins/supplies when they're won, to the current and previous era goods, to the fact that you now get troops on the same level 4 encounters as on levels 1-3. On the positive side, the small encounter rewards are vastly improved from what they were. And while needing to get 800 fragments for a FoY might make some sense due to their worth for a Diamond farm, needing that many fragments to get the shrink kit is, again, indefensible. They're nothing more than AD fodder.after you get enough to assemble the kit, that is. Getting fragments of selection kits for buildings you don't want is just indefensible. Same as my original thought, the large encounter rewards have been nerfed more than anything in my memory and it's just ridiculous. While I still have nothing more to say about GE5, after having played the new GE1-4 a few times now I do have some more to say about those levels.įirst the negative.
